About this event
Please come to the Saturday, April 13 live readiing of Small Domestic Acts by Joan Lipkin. Small Domestic Acts has been described as Brecht meets Pirandello meets As the World Turns! It is the story of two working class couples, one heterosexual and one lesbian, who have come together in front of an audience to tell the story of their friendship and determine who has the right to tell it. As problems become apparent in both relationships, two of the women turn to each other for friendship and support, unexpectedly fall in love and consider having a baby. The play looks at gender roles, the definition of family, the nature of desire and the significance of narrative agency and history. Directed by Terry Hanson. Cast to be announced.
