Boss Lady Brunch: Honoring Women in Music & Media Set for May 19 in DTLA

The Independent Artist Management Global Network (IAM Global Music) will present the Boss Lady Brunch: Honoring Women in Music & Media Benefitting ‘Women Inspiring Women’ on May 19, 2018 at Akustik Kapsule Studios in downtown Los Angeles. The event will feature an influencer panel curated by CEO of IAM Global Music, Crystal Willis, and a special screening of short film #WhereIsBeauty directed by Angela McCrae of Mama-Sans Entertainment, and starring Singer-Songwriter Goapele.
 
Boss Lady influencer panelists include Ms. KJ Rose (The Rose Effect, BET’s Chasing Destiny, E! Network’s Revenge Body), Ms. Whitney Taber (The Record Plant, Girls Make Beats), Ms. Nyanza Shaw (Shaw Esquire, Entertainment Attorney/ Brand Consultant,) Ms. Leontine Abdullah (Celebrity Fashion Designer/TV Personality, Bridezillas,) and TK Trinidad (Media Personality/Contributor, TMZ, AfterBuzz TV, The Jasmine Brand). 
 
This event is designed to create a safe, luxurious space for female entrepreneurs and entertainment professionals to network, enjoy an afternoon of pampering, and discuss difficult topics that foster sisterhood and collaboration, while raising awareness for financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and the prevention of sexual harassment in music.
 
The event will feature brunch items prepared by The Murale Kitchen, sponsored craft cocktails by Ving Vodka, massages by Royal Treatment Wellness, waxing services by 3B Waxing and professional headshots by LA PhotoWalk.
