GC-360 | 2024 Leadership and Player Development Combine (Co-ed)

GC-360 is a Leadership & Player Development Initiative that involves a full day of dialogue and teambuilding activities for high school student athletes.

This action packed day is meant to highlight some of the core competencies that are needed by successful athletes to not only use their talent to open the door, but cultivate the character to continue to keep the doors open.

Some of the topics that will be discussed:

• Values: Decision making, Emotional intelligence, Stress
• Finance: Checking, Savings, Credit, Debt
• Academics+: Education (New GPA requirements), Recruiting process, Exercise, Time management, Nutrition
• Social Responsibility: Community Service, Internet etiquette,

Registration:

• Early Bird: $45 by April 30th Regular: $70

FAQs

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

• There is no "oncampus parking," but there are two parking lots, which have a nominal $5 fee if you desire to park there, or street parking.

What is the dress code for the event?

• A t-shirt is included with the price of registration to be worn the day of the event. The student can feel free to wear any bottoms permissible to an athletic practice i.e shorts or jogging pant.

Do you issue refunds?

• Due to specific ordering of custom t-shirt sizes, and individual meals for each participant, there are no refunds. Student's who are absent thd day of the event, will be mailed their shirt to the address on file.

Where is the best place to be dropped off? At the stadium. The Stadium Club is on the 3rd floor) and pick up is best at? (the Watson and Tressel Training Site)

The first segment will be on the top floor of the DeBartolo Stadium Club at YSU. This is accessible by elevator once the student has entered in the building.

Please arrive at DeBartolo Stadium Club by: 8:15am. Breakfast will be served at 8:30am. We will be transitioning to different locations on YSU's campus during that day. Trying to find which building or room we will be at, may be a challenge if a student arrives late. Most importantly--it wouldn't be the same without being there from the beginning!
