About this event
Join us on Saturday, July 19, at Wallingford Presbyterian Church from 1–4 PM for our 30th Birthday Block Party! Help us celebrate 30 years of providing food and resources to families in North Seattle. We’ll have music, snacks, games, and more!
Tickets are pay-what-you-can. We’re excited to celebrate with our whole community, and invite you to choose the ticket price that’s right for you. If a $0 ticket makes it possible for you to attend, you’re warmly encouraged to do so. If cost is not a barrier, we suggest a ticket price of $30/ticket for adults and $15/ticket for youth 12 and under. Contributions above that help cover the cost of free tickets and make this celebration inclusive for all.
We can’t wait to see you there!
Our Impact Over 30 Years:
- More than 130,000 individuals (nearly 60,000 households) have turned to our food programs for nourishment and support.
- We have distributed nearly 20 million pounds of food, ensuring that families don’t have to choose between paying rent and other bills, and putting food on the table. This is the equivalent weight of 133 cruise ships or 1,667 elephants.
- More than 1,000,000 visits to our food programs reflect the trust and reliance that our neighbors place in our services.
- Over 15,000 households have engaged in Family Resource Center programming, strengthening families through playgroups, classes and workshops, our Diaper Bank and Community Closet, literacy programs, social and cultural gatherings, empowerment groups, and resource fairs.
- More than 200,000 volunteer hours powered our work, the equivalent of 96 full-time employees for a year.
