AGAWAM SOCCER CHARITIES OVERVIEW
Agawam Soccer Association (ASA) has maintained a long tradition within the organizatjon of contributing to our soccer and town community. Through our Agawam Soccer Scholarships, to local Go Fund Me’s, and various donations in our community, ASA has created a culture of support in and out of soccer. ASA created “Agawam Soccer Charities” as part of this organizational culture to build and organize our philanthropic efforts.
ASA has always maintained the “no child left behind” culture and has never rejected any child for the inability to fund the registration. This culture within our soccer community can only be maintained through our volunteers work in various fundraisers but especially this golf tournament.
ASA has maintained and grown our scholarship offering to AHS seniors over the years. ASA last year donated $7000 to AHS seniors in support of the following scholarships:
- Rich Parolo Memorial Scholarship
- Christopher Knight Memorial Scholarship
- Sullivan Family Scholarship
- Daniele/DeNardo Family Scholarship
- Agawam Soccer Association Scholarship
These have been generously funded scholarships that have made an impact and have also carried on the legacy for the people that the scholarships are named for.
ASA recently held a function at Casa DiLisa that recognized the scholarship recipients and allowed the family members of the scholarships to speak and meet the students. It was a great event that brought together the families and emphasized the meaning and relationships that are carried on with these scholarships. That event was able to be put on with funds from our golf tournament.
ASA is proud to continue to support these important initiatives and rely on our volunteers and sponsors to help us achieve this goal. The opportunities created by these initiatives are crucial for the overall growth of our children and continued synergy within our soccer and town communities.
We appreciate your consideration in supporting our Agawam Soccer Charities 7th Annual Golf tournament and hope to see you at Saint Anne’s Golf Course on October 19th
Sincerely,
Brian Regnier/ President Agawam Soccer Association
