 Join us for an inspiring evening of film and reflection with a screening of A Case for Love at the Co-Ed Cinema in Brevard, N.C., on April 14 at 6:30 PM. This thought-provoking documentary, inspired by the teachings of Bishop Michael Curry, explores whether unselfish love holds the key to bridging the deep societal and political divides of our time. Known for his passionate sermon on "The Power of Love" at the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Bishop Curry offers a compelling context for the stories and insights shared in the film.

Traveling across the United States, A Case for Love features interviews with everyday people and notable figures—including Pete Buttigieg, Al Roker, Sam Waterston, and Becca Stevens—examining the transformative power of selfless love in areas such as racial justice, sexual identity, military service, foster care, food justice, and more. This film is a powerful reminder of humanity’s shared capacity for compassion and its potential to create meaningful change. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with a message of hope and connection.

Immediately following the film at Canto 34 on Main Street, Becca Perry-Hill of Lumunos will facilitate a discussion focused on the movie's themes.

All are welcome and admission is free.  Advance registration is appreciated. 

Suggested donation: $10 or more per person.
