The El Dorado County Deputy Sheriff’s Association Cover Six Foundation, in collaboration with Thrive with 10-35, is organizing a drive-through BBQ fundraiser in support of Deputy Adam Stockeland as he continues his treatment for Leukemia. Deputy Stockeland is a United States Army Veteran and is a long serving Deputy with the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office. His most recent assignment is as the School Resource Officer at Ponderosa High School. Deputy Stockeland is also an enthusiastic golfer and enjoys supporting his son's football pursuits and his daughter's cheerleading activities.
Adam's treatment began in August 2024 following his diagnosis. Over the past year, he has undergone multiple courses of chemotherapy as well as a bone marrow transplant, and his medical care is ongoing.
This fundraiser aims to help keep Adam insured, cover medical expenses, and reduce his financial stress so he can focus on his health and family. We also seek to raise awareness of Acute Myeloid Leukemia and bone marrow donation.
Thank you to our community for supporting Adam Stockeland. All donations are tax-deductible.
