About this event

ARCHITECTURAL PHOTOGRAPHY & COMPOSITION LIVE! with Steven Brooke is a hands-on, immersive 2-DAY workshop experience designed for photographers, designers, architects, and creatives who want to master the art of capturing the built environment.

This two-day workshop is held at the Coral Gables Art Cinema in the heart of historic Coral Gables, Florida, led by acclaimed architectural photographer and educator Steven Brooke. The program combines in-depth classroom instruction with guided fieldwork at nearby architectural landmarks.

Schedule both days:  9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Classroom inside Cinema)  / 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM (Guided outdoor sessions)

Participants will learn:

• The history and aesthetics of architectural imagery

• Technical skills using professional equipment and editing software

• Composition techniques that elevate your photos from documentation to art

• Real-world shooting strategies for exteriors, streetscapes, and architectural details

• Post-processing workflows in Adobe Photoshop with personalized critique and guidance

Each day includes dynamic lectures, Q&A sessions, and live field instruction with Professor Brooke. Students will also receive individual feedback on their work and take part in group reviews to deepen their visual understanding.

Whether you’re looking to refine your portfolio, expand your creative skills, or gain a deeper appreciation of architectural form, this workshop offers an inspiring and supportive environment to grow as an image-maker.

Spots are limited. Come explore architecture through the lens — and leave with a sharper eye, stronger images, and a renewed creative vision.
