Join us for our 1st Annual Bourbon & Bags Tournament hosted by the Roncelli Family Foundation!
The 1st Annual Bourbon & Bags Tournament is an evening of summer fun to raise awareness and funds for three community organizations making a big impact on improving our quality of life in Metro-Detroit: the YMCA of Metro Detroit, the Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network (DWIHN) and the Detroit Parade Company!
Event Details:
Event begins at 4pm, with Bags Tournament beginning at 4:30pm sharp (not all tickets have entry to tournament, see below for bag tournmanet rules). All entrants will enjoy valet, open bar (21+), food trucks (Andiamo & Regina's Authentic Mexican), bourbon tasting, cigars, live music (Dogzilla, lead singer Tony Roncelli), and backyard games! If consuming alcohol, the Roncelli Family Foundation highly reccomends using a ride share service, and discounted rides home will be available to guests who wish to take advantage of it!
Tax Information:
All profits will benefit our community partners noted above. Ticket sales proceeds will first go to the Roncelli Family Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit whom will disburse the donations. All ticket sales are fully tax deductible less the FMV of benefits received. Tickets are non-refundable.
Bag Tournmanet Rules:
To enter bags tournament, you must have purchased a ticket that includes entry to tournament, have registered in advance, AND MUST BE PRESENT AT 4:30PM START TIME. Tournament limited to (40) teams (first come first serve) which will be divided into "conferences" of five teams who will play a round-robin to determine the conference's winner who shall advance (if a tie, winner of head-to-head game previously played shall advance). Each conference winner shall advance to a single-elimination tournament without seeding. Last team standing shall be declared the winner! Game rules shall be (3) points for "holing", (1) point for "bag-on-board", points cancel out, first to 21 or above wins (no penalty for going over). The top-four teams will win big! First place team wins $4,000 and a place on the Bags and Bourbon Trophy. Second place team wins $2,500, Third and Fourth teams win $1,500 for each team.
