About this event

We performed a HUGE show in August. Three Sets of Bolling Music!

We performed a LIGHT show in October - just Stephanie and Brian with Bolling, Brahms and the Beatles.

On December 13th - we are performing our biggest show YET!!  Not our longest - only 2 sets of music - but our BIGGEST!!

Our Bolling Crew will be playing some of the best Crossover Holiday music and some other Bolling treats - with a FULL HORN SECTION! For us - that means THREE HORN PLAYERS!

Claude Bolling didn't write any commercial, sacred or any other sort of XMas Holiday music. Probably because the holiday music market wasn't quite as thriving in France as in the US. BUT he did write an amazing little funky piece called "Jingle Jangle Boogie"  which we WILL be playing! We're also playing his Jazz City pieces AND because we are joined by the most wonderful Professor James Armstrong on Trumpet, we will be playing one of Bolling's most jaunty faves, "Rag Polka".

In this show, we are gonna be doing some SINGING! Gavin will handle most. But there is a super duper fun Harry Connick Jr. piece that forces every one of us to sing - including YOU!

With fresh and fun sax and brass arrangements for your absolute favorite music pieces from "A Charlie Brown Christmas" by Vince Guaraldi - and a bare sweet country tune - this show will have you FILLED with Holiday Spirit!!!

The Continental Club has never been filled with so much sound!!!

Performing in our Bolling Crew are Steve McHugh on Drums, Virginia Masius on Bass, Gavin Douglas on Guitar and Vocals, with James Armstrong on Trumpet, Evan Raines on Alto Sax, Brian Blauch on Flute, Tenor and Baritone Sax and Stephanie Lindley, on Piano and Vocals.

This is gonna be such a fun night!!!!

Come celebrate the Holidays with us! In a swanky French nightclub, leather seats, tasty cocktails and a fabulous gallery of local art.
