About this event
By kind invitation of Victoria and Edward Harley, a special visit to Brampton Bryan Hall. This is a joint visit for members of the Friends of Herefordshire Museums & Arts and Hereford Civic Society.
Brampton Bryan Castle and Estate passed to the Harley family in 1309 on the marriage of Bryan de Brampton’s daughter, Margaret, to Robert Harley. The Brampton Family had held the Estate since the Domesday Book, and so there has been an unbroken line of family ownership for over 900 years.
For a more sustainable and restful visit, members are encouraged to catch a coach to save the drive to the top of the County and for which the cost is being subsidised by the Friends. The coach is being organised in conjunction with the Civic Society and will pick up passengers from Hereford departure 1.00pm from Merton Meadow car park and Leominster 1.30pm from car park adjacent to the Fire Station.
Cost of visit £20 per person (all proceeds to charity) plus £5 per coach passenger.
Some tickets are reserved for offline sales. If online tickets are sold out, email shop@fhma.org.uk to ask if any tickets are still available.
THE EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT - please contact enquiries@fhma.org.uk if you'd like to go on a waiting list.
