CCA Florida STAR Awards Ceremony & Banquet presented by Florida's Sports Coast
Mark your calendars for October 10, 2026, as we celebrate youth fishing and practicing conservation during the annual CCA Florida STAR Awards Banquet. This celebratory evening brings together anglers, families, sponsors, and supporters from across the state to recognize our youth who have participated in the summer long STAR Competition presented by Yamaha, Florida’s largest family-friendly fishing competition.

Throughout the night, we will honor our youth winners across a variety of divisions. The event will showcase the passion and dedication that fuels Florida’s fishing community. Guests will hear inspiring stories of conservation, community involvement and how STAR has made an impact on families and in protecting and enhancing our state’s fisheries and coastal habitats

In addition to the STAR awards presentation, we will also award the prizes from the Drum Spots Lots-A-Spots tournament.  Attendees do not need to have participated in either tournament and will enjoy a lively evening filled with fellowship, dinner, and the chance to connect with fellow anglers, conservationists, and sponsors who make the STAR program possible. The banquet not only celebrates accomplishments on the water but also highlights the mission of CCA Florida: ensuring a bright future for Florida’s marine resources and the anglers who treasure them.

You may bid on silent auction items and purchase raffle tickets up until 9pm. Winners will be announced after 9pm during the celebration.

6:30 – 8:45 PM           • Welcome to Sponsors & Guests.
• Announcements regarding 2026 STAR competition.

• Recognition of Duke Energy by Nancy Dodd, Government & Community Relations Manager.

• Awards Ceremony for Guy Harvey Foundation Youth Scholarships Division presented by Realtree Fishing.

• Award the Carolina Skiff, Custom Gheenooe & Bull Bay package in the Teen Challenge Division presented by Carolina Skiff.

• Award the Native Watercraft Max Slayer to wiiner of Most Fish Division presented by T H Marine

• Award the winners of the Trash Divison

• Award The West Marine Family Award.
