About this event
We would like to extend an invitation to you to join us for our 5th annual fundraiser for a pediatric disorder called PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorder Associated w/ Strep) and 100% of proceeds will go to the PANDAS Network. PANDAS Network, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing awareness, funding research for a cure, addressing the needs of children and families with the pediatric autoimmune disorders PANDAS and PANS.
The night will be produced by ENERGY X Productions and will feature Vegas style casino games; Blackjack, Poker, Roulette and Craps. Win amazing “Casino prizes” and fantastic basket raffles donated by local businesses. Gourmet hors d'oeuvres from Just Food of Buckingham, and a top shelf cash bar. It will be a fun evening for everyone from the novice player to the seasoned gambler!

What is PANDAS and what impact does it have?
PANDAS occur when a normal strep infection triggers a misdirected immune response resulting in inflammation (encephalitis) in a child’s brain. The result is a rapid change in a child’s behavior and ability to function. Children with PANDAS rapidly develop tics, OCD, anxiety, sensory sensitivities, restrictive eating, and so much more. Otherwise normal children are lost overnight after a simple case of strep takes a wrong turn. PANDAS is not rare: Conservatively, 1 in 200 children are affected!
