Friday September 11th we are back at the Wrigley Center! Kids are finally back in school and you can breathe a sigh of reliefe surviving another summer! Come out for a night of fun and laughter as we bring you another great lineup!
Our headliner for the evening, known for his high-energy delivery and unapologetically sharp humor, Derek Richards brings a nationally recognized act shaped by years of touring and appearances across major platforms like BlazeTV, Amazon Prime, Dry Bar Comedy and SiriusXM. His quick wit and relatable storytelling, touching on everything from his Irish-Catholic upbringing to modern life and relationships, create a fast-paced set that feels like the funniest inappropriate conversation you’ve ever had. With film credits (Don't Suck with Matt Rife and Jamie Kennedy), 4 comedy albums, and a memoir under his belt, Richards delivers a polished, laugh-out-loud performance.
Coming along with Derek is Jacob Russel & Brett Mercer. Jacob is a working comedian who also has a heavy influence in the Detroit Improv and theater scene. His one man show "Birth of a Hoe A** Nation pt.1 & pt. 2" has been one of the truly great independent shows Detroit has produced in the last few decades. Now come watch as he shows off his mic skills, with his hilarious style of standup comedy. Brett Mercer also opening has been a major part of the comedy scene all around SE Michigan and the midwest. His unique take on life will keep your laughing and guessing as to what is coming next!
