Learn sketch writing tips and techniques from Katie Congrove and Connor Schuck of Big Ol’ Mess!

Big Ol' Mess is a sketch comedy group from Denver, CO. They have performed in numerous festivals across North America, including Montreal Sketchfest (where they were selected for the Best of the Fest showcase), Austin Sketch Fest, Philly Sketchfest, Portland Sketch Comedy Festival (3x), DC Sketchfest, Denver Sketch Festival (2x), and the RISE Comedy Festival.

Outside of festivals, Big Ol’ Mess has performed in numerous sold-out shows in Denver, as well as two shows at the BCC – Eris Mainstage. They have also performed in both the 2024 and 2025 Cam Wyllie Sketch Comedy Invitationals. In 2025, they were the $10,000 Grand Prize winners of the Cam Wyllie Sketch Comedy Invitational.
