What happens if a striker ends up on the ground?
For many martial artists, plenty of time is spent developing striking skills, footwork and distance management. However, if a confrontation goes to the ground, many students find themselves outside their comfort zone.
Down But Not Out is a practical two-day seminar designed specifically for Taekwondo, Karate, Kickboxing and other striking-based martial artists who want to develop the skills needed to survive, escape and get back to their feet safely.
This seminar is not about turning strikers into grapplers. It is about understanding the ground environment, learning how to protect yourself in vulnerable positions and developing practical recovery skills that complement your existing martial arts training.
Topics Covered
• Understanding the ground environment
• Ground survival principles
• Defensive positioning and movement
• Escaping common positions
• Creating space under pressure
• Safe recovery and standing up
• Integrating ground survival into self-defence situations
Who Should Attend?
This seminar is ideal for:
• Taekwondo practitioners
• Karate practitioners
• Kickboxers
• Traditional martial artists
• Self-defence students
• Instructors looking to broaden their knowledge
No previous grappling experience is required.
Whether you are a student, instructor or martial arts enthusiast, this seminar will provide practical skills and concepts that can immediately be applied to your training.
Join Ross Cameron for two days of learning, practical skill development and martial arts education.
Down But Not Out – because getting knocked down doesn't mean the fight is over.
