Tiago Almeida; Feeding the Exhibition

Presented as part of Memories of the Past That Hug Me in a Nest, please join us for a series of workshops with Tiago Almeida exploring the exhibition through conversation, making, and feeding.

Join us for an activation of the exhibition. Centered around the practice of feeding, this gathering explores the possibility of aliveness within museum spaces and the ways objects, places, and communities remain in relationship long after they have been rendered static by institutional frameworks.

Drawing from Candomblé and his own artistic practice, Almeida will share traditions of offering, care, and reciprocity. Together, participants will learn about and take part in feeding elements within the exhibition, engaging works installed to honor, educate, and maintain relationships across time.
