A 3-Day High-Intensity Humans vs Zombies Survival Event

Prepare for a weekend of endurance, teamwork, and chaos as Foam on Tour brings you Apocalyptica – HVZ, a large-scale, immersive Humans vs Zombies experience running from Friday evening through to Sunday afternoon.

This is not a one-hour skirmish. This is survival.

🧟 The Story & Objective

Humans will spend the entire weekend attempting to survive amid an ever-growing horde of Zombies hunting to infect them. Every infection strengthens the undead ranks. Once infected, Humans will immediately join the Zombie team and remain Zombies for the rest of the game.

The ultimate goal for the Zombies is simple: infect every last Human.

⚠️ If all Humans are wiped out on Day One, the game will reset the following day to ensure everyone continues to get maximum gameplay across the weekend.

🏴 Human Factions

All Human players will be split into three factions:

• Bandits

• Mutants

• Cultists

Players will be able to select their preferred faction in advance, allowing friends to play together. While factions will compete during certain elements of gameplay, Humans will also need to unite to survive.

🎯 Gameplay Structure

The event will run on a continuous gameplay loop made up of:

Missions

• Large, set-piece scenarios where all Humans band together

• Humans complete objectives while Zombies form one massive attacking horde

• High intensity, high pressure, and high stakes

Dayplay & Nightplay

• More free-form gameplay between Missions

• Humans primarily operate within their factions, completing faction-specific objectives

• Zombies are free to split, hunt, ambush, and overwhelm however they choose

• Expect very different dynamics between daylight and darkness

⛺ Camping & Field Bases

Camping on site is strongly encouraged.

• Players will be able to set up in-field bases at designated locations within the gameplay area

• Bases can be used for rest, planning, defence, and roleplay

• Expect the Zombies to know where you are…

🔫 Weapon & Equipment Limits

All equipment will be subject to mod and safety inspection prior to gameplay. Anything deemed unsafe will not be permitted.

Blasters

• 130 FPS Limit for all Blasters 

Grenades

• ❌ Cap grenades not allowed

• ✅ Smoke grenades allowed for Zombie team only

Melee

• Melee weapons allowed for the Zombie team only

• LARP-safe melee weapons ONLY

👥 Age Limits & Safety

• Minimum age: 14+

• Any player under 18 must:

  • Attend with a participating adult

  • Wear full face protection at all times outside of safe zones
