About this event

The Hamilton de Holanda Trio will play a concert of Brazilian jazz on Tuesday, January 13, in a Woods Hole living room. Doors open at 6:30. Music starts at 7.

Ticket holders will be informed of the concert location - and other important information - by email about 24h before the show.

Hamilton de Holanda is my favorite living musician . . . and I know a lot of amazing players. His playing speaks to me like Jerry Garcia's did. Others equate him to Jimi Hendrix. To me, Charlie Parker and Pablo Casals are comparable. Reality, not overhype.

Hamilton won a Grammy for "Best Latin Jazz Album" with Gonzalo Rubalcaba in 2024. He won "Best Latin Jazz Album" again in 2025 with The Trio, including Salamão Soares on keys and Thiago "Big" Rabello on percussão.

Hamilton only plays one house concert anywhere in the world, in Woods Hole. Thank goodness we're friends. Usually he plays the A-List concert halls and clubs. We're amazingly fortunate to get him. AND his great trio. Don't miss this.
