About this event
Sign up to participate in the INKspirations art workshops at Southwest Arts Center:
June 24, 25, 26, and 27 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM
INKspirations Art Workshops will be led by jaha knight of Dakari Moon, in partnership with South Fulton Arts.
This 4-day workshop is designed to help teens (ages 14–18) reduce stress and build confidence through creative, mindfulness-based activities like mandala coloring, reverse art, and fluid ink painting—each session offering a fun, engaging path to emotional wellness and self-expression.
These workshops blend creativity, mindfulness, and self-expression, providing a safe and engaging space for teens to explore their emotions, build confidence, and develop lifelong self-care habits.
With rising academic and social pressures, many teens struggle with anxiety and self-doubt. Inkspirations offers a relaxing, judgment-free environment where they can channel emotions through coloring, painting, and storytelling, learning emotional regulation in a way that feels natural. Workshops like Reverse Radiance enhance problem-solving and critical thinking, while collaborative sessions foster social connections and creative exploration. By integrating art as a mindfulness tool, this program equips teens with healthy coping mechanisms that support them through college, careers, and life’s challenges, making creativity an anchor for resilience and well-being.
