About this event

This weekly class (series of four, 60-minute lectures held on Saturday mornings) will explore the application of the word "masterpiece" to works of art through examination of great works from Ancient Greece to present day. Our class will also explore works within the Harmon Museum art collection and attempt to establish the "masterpiece" criteria to work the students select.
