Minnehaha Food Shelf Fall Dinner & Fundraiser 2025

Minnehaha Food Shelf will be hosting a Fall Fundraiser to support our food shelf missions.

The Minnehaha Food Shelf helps fight food insecurity in our Minneapolis neighborhood by distributing fresh, nutritious food every Tuesday. The food shelf is a coalition of five south Minneapolis churches: Minnehaha United Methodist Church, Lake Nokomis Lutheran Church, Living Table United Church of Christ, St. Peders Lutheran Church, and Grace Episcopal Church. On a typical Tuesday, throughout the past year, we served on average 1200 clients each week. The number of adults, children, and households we serve has grown significantly in the past few years. As client demand grows, our expenses, primarily for the purchase of groceries including meat, poultry, dairy products, fruits, vegetables, baked goods, and packaged provisions, grow as well. The success of the food shelf weighs heavily on our community in terms of both volunteers and financial donations, and we are grateful for the businesses and individuals who support our mission.
