About this event
One show - 3-times the music!!! This year, band founder and leader Waynard Scheller brings triple the fun — with Rainbow Full of Sound, Dead Zep, and Dark Side of the Rainbow — honoring and melding the music of The Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.
It’s somewhat boggling to think of Jerry Garcia and Jimmy Page swapping riffs – the beatific Buddha and the slashing, edgy Page. But as veteran player of Grateful Dead music Waynard Scheller noticed one night, the chords of the Dead anthem “St. Stephen” merged seamlessly into “Whole Lotta Love.” Then he sat down and found lots of pairs of songs that fit together. And thus was born “Dead-Zep,” a new band formed from his Rainbow Full of Love to mash up the two repertoires.
Last year, Waynard brought us Dead Zep. This year Waynard’s adding — some pure Dead and Pink Floyd to the mix. What a treat we have in store for you!
All ages welcome! 21+ to drink with valid ID
