Redlands Family Fun Day – 250th Softball Showdown!

Join us for a spectacular community celebration as we honor America’s 250th Birthday at the Redlands Family Fun Day on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Coyazo Park, new Redlands Sports Park.

Bring the whole family for an unforgettable day featuring the Public Safety Softball Showdown, where the Redlands Police Department takes on the Redlands Fire Department in a friendly competition for community bragging rights. Families will enjoy a fun-filled Kids Zone sponsored by the Optimist Club of Redlands, live music and entertainment, local vendor booths, patriotic tributes, and classic American favorites from the In-N-Out Burger Truck.

As a special thank you to our hometown heroes, Redlands Police Department and Redlands Fire Department families will be honored guests and treated to a complimentary lunch hosted by Redlands Ranch Market and Hoodidya BBQ as they cheer on their favorite team during the softball showdown.

Hosted by the Redlands Sunrise Rotary Club, this free community event celebrates 250 years of American freedom while bringing together families, neighbors, and first responders for a day of patriotism, appreciation, and community spirit. Sponsorship and fundraising proceeds benefit local youth scholarships and community initiatives, with 50% of event proceeds shared between the Redlands Police Foundation and Redlands Fire Benevolent Fund.
