About this event

Sam Robbins describes himself as an "old soul singer songwriter." A Nashville based musician whose music evokes classic singer songwriters like James Taylor and Jackson Browne, Sam adds a modern, upbeat edge to the storyteller troubadour persona. He is currently one of 24 finalists in the 2021 Kerville Folk Festival New Folk Songwriting Competition, one of the most prestigious songwriting competitions in the country. An avid performer, he has gained recognition from extensive touring and as the first artist to perform a Jim Croce song on NBC's The Voice. Sam is releasing his debut album, Finally Feeling Young, On May 14th, 2021.
