About this event
Join us for a presentation about the wonderful honeybee - little critter with a little name that has a massive impact on our world. Members of the Morris and Somerset County Beekeepers Association (MSCBA) will discuss the importance of pollinators, the characteristics and habitat, the role they play in food production, beekeeping and what to plant to attract pollinators. They will also be an observation hive so that you can see and understand what activities happen in a colony and its structure.
In addition to learning about the life of these wonderful insects, the MSCBA will be selling locally collected honey!
This event will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2024 from 2-4 pm at the historic Hageman House and Farm, 209 South Middlebush Road, Somerset, NJ. The fee for attending is $12 for members (tickets available 3/25) and $15 for non-members (tickets available 4/8). Light refreshments will be served. Please email us to reserve payment at the door. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at tmf.org.1289@gmail.com.
