ASL Interpreted Community Acupuncture at Minnesota Integrative Health Studio

Join ThinkSelf and friends on June 15, 2024, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am for an ASL-interpreted community acupuncture experience. All are welcome!

This event is pay-what-you-wish. Typical cost for community acupuncture is $30-50. Any amount including $0 is ok!

Once registered, please watch your email for a questionnaire from Minnesota Integrative Health. If you would like assistance completing the questionnaire, please email hello@thinkself.org. The questionnaire will ask for your credit card information; in order to complete registration, you must provide this information. You will NOT be charged.

Since there are limited seats available, we kindly ask that if you register and are unable to attend, contact us as soon as possible so we can offer the seat to another person.

Workshop description

A traditional Chinese Medicine Doctor and/or Licensed Acupuncturists from Minnesota Integrative Health Studio will provide a short educational discussion of the tradition of acupuncture, what to expect during your session, information about other services available at MN Integrative Health such as cupping and infared saunas, followed by a 1:1 interview and treatment. ASL interpretation will be provided. 

From MN Integrative Health's website: "Acupuncture is provided in a small group setting. You will lay on a comfortable treatment table either face down or face up, depending upon your treatment needs. Tables can also be propped up so you can lay in a reclined position. Dividers are positioned between each table for a semi-private environment.

This style of acupuncture is very similar to how acupuncture is provided in China, allowing providers to see more patients in a day, which allows us to provide this service at a reduced rate compared to private acupuncture treatments. This also allows friends and family to enjoy acupuncture treatments together."
