About this event
Join Trying Together on October 4 for UnConference: From Representation to Inclusion in partnership with the Neighborhood Museum at the Carnegie Museum of Art. Registration is required.
We begin the UnConference with keynote speaker, Ivonne Smith-Tapia, Director of Refugee and Immigrant Services at Jewish Family & Community Services. Ivonne grew up in Colombia and holds master’s degrees in Cultural Anthropology and Social Work with a certificate in Human Services Management. There will be a large group workshop and panel in the morning. After lunch, there will be two sessions for you to attend out of the 10 session options. We will end the day by 4:30 P.M. Please note: 6.5 PQAS and Act 48 credit hours will be available.
Upon registering, you will select your first and second choices of preferred sessions for each of the afternoon session time slots.
Before making your selection when filling out the registration, please review the workshop descriptions here.
How Do I Register?
Registration is now open and session names, descriptions, and times are included. The cost is $25. Registration is required. Please register no later than Tuesday, September 30. Registration can be completed at the top of the page. Each session will have limited space, so we will try our best to accommodate your session requests for the afternoon. Please note: 6.5 PQAS and Act 48 credit hours will be available. For questions regarding registering large groups, please reach out to amanda@tryingtogether.org. We encourage large groups to split between sessions if possible.
