21st Annual Global Citizen Awards & UN Day Celebration: “Youth Transforming the World: Vision, Unity, and Leadership"

Join UNA-USA, East Bay Chapter for our Twenty-First Annual Global Citizen Awards and UN Day Celebration, presented in collaboration with the  International House at UC Berkeley, the Miller Institute for Global Challenges and the Law, the Port of Oakland, and the UC Berkeley Campus Chapter of UNA-USA

This event will showcase local organizations and individuals who are lifting up youth in our East Bay community. Come for a festive reception with light refreshments at 3:00 at the International House at UC Berkeley, followed by celebrations honoring UNA-East Bay’s 21st annual Global Citizens.

With the theme “Youth Transforming the World: Vision, Unity, and Leadership,” the UNA-East Bay’s UN Day event will celebrate exemplary achievements and impact directly linked to youth and young adults,  as well as outstanding youth and youth-led organizations working to fulfill UN goals.

This year's program will feature a special artistic presentation by the Young Musicians Choral Orchestra and students at the American Montessori School in Berkeley, and an address by former UN Youth Observer and White House Policy Advisor, Himaja Nagireddy.

Come join us and bring family and friends to demonstrate support for the youth and young adults in our East Bay community!
