2025 OST ALLIANCE SUMMIT
About this event
You’re invited to join Washington County Kids as we celebrate progress made on our mission: To increase access to quality out-of-school-time programs that equip Washington County children and youth for success.
Our annual fundraising gala is happening on June 6, 2024, at the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts in Beaverton, Oregon. This is an exciting new location for us and will be held in “The Lab”, a high-tech gathering place.
Our incredibly special guest is Oregon State Representative Susan McLain who successfully steered House Bill 4082 through the short session to help Oregon kids this summer!
The evening will include catered hors d’oeuvres, no-host wine, music, exciting silent and live auction items, and a celebration of what afterschool enrichment does for kids across the county.
Thanks to the generous donations last year of many wonderful people, we were able to fund over one third of our annual budget! We are looking forward to connecting with our enthusiastic supporters. All contributions help us pursue sustainable funding for afterschool and summer youth programs, as well as provide continuing education courses for providers and child behavioral information for parents.
We hope you will join us!
About Washington County Kids
Founded in 2009, our vision is one where all children can reach their full potential. WCK fills an important need as the only county-wide coordinator serving after-school and summer programs. The second most populated Oregon county, Washington County includes over 98,000 children ages 5-18. We serve as a liaison to the county’s out of school providers and facilitate networking, educational opportunities, share best practices, and foster collaboration among providers. We are also an ongoing advocate for sustainable funding to provide access to early learning, after-school, and summer programs for county kids. WCK is a 501©(3) non-profit [EIN: 35-2629472] governed by a dedicated Board of Directors and many volunteers who work together to promote and support sustainable funding for afterschool and summer youth programs.
