Washington County Kids is happy to offer an exciting training opportunity for OST providers!

BE Physically Active 2Day (BEPA 2.0) Training
Online now + In person on September 24, 2024

BEPA 2.0 is a school-based physical activity program aligned to state physical education (PE) and health education standards.

This OSU Extension program is normally offered to schools and districts, WCK is able to offer this special opportunity to our OST provoder partners.  Thanks to funding from H.E.L.P (Helping Education with Love & Pizza) through the support of Pizza Schmizza, we are able to offer the training for a reduced cost of only $25 to the first 20 registrants.  After that the full price is $50.  Participants must complete the online training to be able to participate at the in-person event.

How it works:
1) Get your ticket today and watch for your email with your ticketstripe account which will include your dedicated OSU registration link.
2) Complete the OSU Registration and the online course in Canvas before September 23, 2024.
3) Complete the Post-Training Evaluation.
4) Receive your Certificate of Completion and professional development credit hours.
5) Attend the in-person session on September 24, 2024, 10:00am – 12:00pm at Conestoga Recreation and Aquatic Center, Beaverton, OR 97008.


Online Details
Upon registration, you will receive online access and Join us in an online, asynchronous training This training will be completed in Canvas, a web-based learning platform.  You will have until the date of our in-person session (September 24, 2024) to continue accessing the online training content.  You'll be able to access Canvas from Ideal-Logic using the "Access Course" button. If you are not familiar, you can find information about navigating the platform at the following link: https://nrc.instructure.com/courses/132/pages/canvas-basics.

In-person Session
Participants must complete the online training to be able to participate in-person.
In-person trainees will receive a BEPA 2.0 Activity Card Set in their choice of English or Spanish!

Evaluation
Please note that to unlock all of the content in Canvas, you must complete the Pre-Training Evaluation within the first module. Similarly, to finish the training and receive your Certificate of Completion, you must complete the Post-Training Evaluation in the final Canvas module. 

Canvas
This training will be completed in Canvas, a web-based learning platform. You'll be able to access Canvas from Ideal-Logic using the "Access Course" button. Certificate of Completion
Upon finishing this training course, you will be granted a certificate of completion. We will update completion data weekly. You will receive an email with instructions on how to download and print your certificate from Ideal-Logic. Participants will receive Professional Development for completing the online portion of this training.
