Music for Flute & Harp

Karen Batten Flute | Ingrid Bauer Harp
Karen is an orchestral musician with the Vector Wellington Orchestra and occasionally with NZSO, and teaches throughout the Wellington region.
Ingrid is Principal Harp with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, and is in demand as a soloist, chamber musician and teacher.
Karen & Ingrid are excited to be performing the world première of Matins by Thomas Goss in its intended scoring for flute and harp. Matins is a musical depiction of a mind coming into focus upon waking.
The programme also includes works by JS Bach, Debussy, Takemitsu, and Ibert.
