A full day of speakers, panels, and open debate sessions exploring unity, leadership, and collective responsibility across the African world. Food will be provided throughout the day.

July 19 – Suya Beach BBQ & Maafa Commemoration Cruise

A beachside Suya BBQ with music and community, plus an optional Maafa Commemoration Cruise. Cruise seating is limited; attendees may return to the BBQ afterward. The cruise includes a brief ceremony, social time, celebration, and sightseeing on the water.

Day 1 focuses on fostering meaningful connections through networking with global leaders, celebrating the spirit of Ubuntu—“I Am Because We Are”—and showcasing the richness of African culture through vibrant cultural performances and experiences.

Day 2 features a dynamic convention experience with keynote speakers, engaging workshops, innovation panels, interactive sessions, an African entrepreneurship marketplace, a cultural fashion show, and authentic African cuisine celebrating the continent’s creativity, leadership, and economic potential.

Day 3 is outdoor community event Celebrating the African principle of Ubuntu: “I am because we are.” Free,invite family and friends to come out and celebrate your heritage and support you community. There is strength in our Unity.

Day 3 Evening Cruise optional in honor of MAAFA Commeration

This is our moment to unite, to celebrate our roots, and to build bridges across continents and communities. Together, we’ll turn the spirit of Ubuntu “I am because we are” into real progress, rewriting the narrative for Boston and the world.
