“Virtuosos on clarinet and saxophone” - that's how the New York Times describes identical twins Peter and Will Anderson. Peter and Will moved to New York to attend Julliard, and never left. They drank from the bottomless well of NY-based jazz personified by Louis Armstrong, George Gershwin, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Henry Mancini, Tommy Dorsey and an endless and still-growing pool of talent and creativity. I see them on almost every NYC music safari, usually at Birdland or the 59E59 Theatre, but it's no surprise to run into Peter or Will anywhere in NYC where jazz is on the menu.

You've probably heard them too, on the sound track of Killers of the Flower Moon, Boardwalk Empire, or The Marvelous Ms. Maisel. Remember Prairie Home Companion? They played that show too! You've probably heard them playing with Wynton, or Cecile McLorin Salvant or Ken Peplowski or Wycliffe Gordon, or Warren Vaché, or Frank Vignola, or, . . . or . . . well, you get the picture . . .  but if you want more, watch these videos!

Here they play an especially exciting Rhapsody in Blue: https://youtu.be/OcN25rpBBMY?list=RDOcN25rpBBMY

This video has their lovely rendition of "These Foolish Things" (Remind me of You): https://youtu.be/A_SjhAehSMQ?list=RDA_SjhAehSMQ

Please join us for a special afternoon of music from the American Songbook, Harlem, Queens, Broadway and beyond.
