Beeswax wraps are some of the latest in the sustainability game. These are a great way to reduce your use of wax paper and plastic bags! Plus, these little dudes add a pop of color and pattern into what is normally boring, old food storage!

 

In this workshop you will learn how to make your own beeswax wraps! You'll trim your own fabric to prevent fraying and then learn to apply the beeswax onto the fabric. The beeswax is melted down and then adhered to cotton fabric to allow for reusability. The fabric becomes more malleable, so you can conform it to the shape of any fruit, veggie or snack. The cost of the class covers fabric for 3 pieces; 6"x8", 8"x8", and 11"x11" as well as your beeswax.
