Learn about 1913 Calumet through activist and union organizer Anna (Big Annie) Klobuchar Clemenc featured in the novel "Women of the Copper Country" by Mary Doria Russell. Guided by Big Annie, you'll learn about the miner's strike of 1913 and visit notable places related to the strike.
This tour is offered free to members and by donation to the general public. There will be a short Q&A following the 50 minute walking tour. Expect to walk 1/2 to 1 mile at a leisurely pace.
