About this event
Join in BIPOC community for a weekend in the beautiful mountains of western Maine! We’ll explore the Maine Huts and Trails trail system and spend two nights at Stratton Brook Lodge—a cozy off-the-grid eco lodge in the Carrabasset Valley. This trip is for outdoor enthusiasts of any level who want to explore Maine’s beauty in a BIPOC-centered environment, and learn a few outdoor skills along the way. Trip tuition covers hiking gear, lodging, your instructors, and all meals and snacks.
Experience Requirements: None
Group Type: BIPOC. BIPOC events are for Black, Indigenous, and people of color of all genders and sexualities. If you’re not BIPOC, do not attend these events!
Activity Level Y: Comfort climbing stairs and balancing your body weight are helpful skills to have for this level of activity. Activity may include moderate elevation gain on uneven terrain. 3-6 hours/day.
