Bright Start TN Align Summit

Tennesseans for Quality Early Education (TQEE) is proud to host the inaugural Bright Start TN Align Summit in Nashville, Tennessee, on Sept. 8, 2023. This first-of-its-kind event will bring together more than 200 business, nonprofit, civic and education leaders from communities across the state to learn together and discuss innovative solutions to advance early care and education initiatives in Tennessee. Highlights of the event include: 

• Featured speaker Tabatha Rosproy, Early Educator and 2020 National Teacher of the Year

• Special panel with Tennessee commissioners:

  • Commissioner Clarence Carter, Dept. of Human Services

  • Commissioner Lizzette Reynolds, Dept. of Education 

  • Director of TennCare, Stephen Smith

  •  Commissioner Deniece Thomas, Dept. of Labor and Workforce Development

  • Commissioner Brad Turner, Dept. of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

• Early Care and Education Workforce Development Workshop
