Zain Yamani has been working in the healing arts for over 20 years. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Berkeley in 1997, and in 1999, he obtained a degree in physical therapy from the University of California, San Francisco. Shortly thereafter, he received extensive training in the mechanical diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders through the McKenzie Institute.
In 2001, he met Hakim Archuletta, who inspired him to study homeopathy and Thai medical massage, a form of acupressure. He went on to study homeopathy in the Greek Islands with world-renowned homeopath, George Vithoulkas, and upon completing his homeopathic studies in 2010, he began seeing clients locally in Jordan where he was then based. He is also interested in the role nutrition plays in treating chronic pain conditions and has completed a program in Functional Nutrition for Chronic Pain. Upon returning to the States, he joined the staff at Forward to Health, working alongside other holistic healers. He has treated a variety of ailments including asthma, digestive issues, women’s health, psychological ailments, acute illnesses, musculoskeletal disorders, vaccine-related injuries, and first aid situations.
