About this event
Afternoon tea and talk at Castle House Hotel with optional walk around the nearby site of the castle afterwards. Life member Kate Andrew will talk to us about her very recently published book ‘Hereford Castle (The Hidden History of a Defended City)’. This will be a great opportunity to find more about what was once a huge castle, “one of the fairest and strongest in all England”. After Kate’s short talk, we will be served a delicious Castle House Hotel afternoon tea of sandwiches and scones.
If you have heard about the event through the Castle House Hotel, you are very welcome to book to attend; otherwise, this is a private event for members of the Friends of Herefordshire Museums and Arts and invited associate organisations. If you’d like to come along, it’s easy to join the FHMA for £15 a year for an individual, or £25 for a couple. Email enquiries@fhma.org.uk with your request and contact details or download the form on the web site www.fhma.org.uk/join-us.html
