This Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training is presented by FEMA certified trainer, Fulton Sheen. He will be training volunteers from the public in basic disaster response skills, fire safety, light search & rescue, team organization, disaster medical operations, in a practical, 3-day training course. Trainees are required to attend all 3 days to obtain their CERT certification.
Costs include all training materials. Bring your own notebook and pen, and wear comfortable clothing for hands-on learning. Light lunch and drinks will be provided. (Feel free to bring your own lunch or go out to nearby establishments). No childcare provided.
Event schedule:
Thursday, March 31 from 6pm to 9pm
Friday, April 1 from 9am to 5pm
Saturday, April 2 from 9am to 5pm
Please note: Attending all 3 days in full is required to obtain CERT certification.
