The Taneytown Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the Taneytown Police Department and the City of Taneytown to present a “Covid-Compliant” all-you-can-eat crab feast fundraiser on Saturday, September 12, 6-9 PM, in Taneytown’s Memorial Park. The fundraiser benefits the newly formed Taneytown Business Grant Fund, providing aid to local businesses in the aftermath of the pandemic shutdown.
The ticket price are $50 per person for seated attendance, with children 12 and under free. Purchase a reserved Table of 6 for $275. Tables of 6 will be appropriately spaced within the open pavilions, and provisions made for seating at tables outside the pavilions. The area where alcohol consumption is allowed will be clearly delineated and fenced. Total attendance, including staff, will be kept under 250 people. Take-out tickets are available for $30, which includes a half dozen crabs, 2 pices of chicken, and 2 sides.
Proceeds from the event will be deposited into an account for this fund with the Community Foundation of Carroll County.
