DMV Events & Entertainment Clean Comedy Showcase (8:00)

Come out to the Good Counsel theatre for a night of clean fun for DMV Events & Entertainment's Clean Comedy Special. Be a part of history as two local comedians perform and record an audio special that will be distributed worldwide. There will be two shows at 6:00 and 8:00. Bring the whole family for a night they are sure to remember.

Robert Mac is an award-winning comedy veteran with over two decades of experience in comedy clubs, casinos, cruise ships, festivals and the infrequent television appearance. He's either a smart guy who comes off as very stupid or a stupid guy who thinks he's very smart. His act has been described as clean, cerebral, silly, and a little self-deprecating. He was the grand prize winner of Comedy Central's national stand-up contest and the talent search winner for the Jerry Lewis Telethon, and has been invited to the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, the Boston Comedy Festival, and the inaugural Great American Comedy Festival. He's been seen on NBC's Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central's Premium Blend, and The Learning Channel as well. He has performed with such luminaries as Robin Williams and Adam Sandler, to mention a couple, and corporate clients include McDonald’s, IBM, Aflac Insurance, Sysco, Raytheon, and the American Cancer Society. Robert enjoys long naps on the beach.

Jared has been making complete strangers laugh at him for over a decade. From humble beginnings at a hole-in-the-wall club in Baltimore, he is now the most humble person in the world, not that he’s one to brag about it. He was recently told that his comedy was “top drawer”, which is where he keeps his socks and underwear, so that makes sense. During his career he has shared the stage with names like Mike Birbiglia, Judah Friedlander, Richard Lewis, Emo Philips, John Witherspoon, and Caroline Rhea. He was voted 2013 Best Comedian in DC by the readers of the Washington City Paper. He was a featured performer at the 2017 What A Joke Fest and the 2018 LaughFest. His album, Strangers Laugh at Me, was recently transcribed in the Library of Congress.
