About this event

Even a small amount of time in nature can have an impact on our health. Recharge your creative batteries by spending some time outdoors with us under the canopy of Central Park’s trees during our small-group session of Shinrin-Yoku, or Forest Bathing, led by EAG member Joan Kane. From the Japanese “shinrin” (forest) and “yoku” (bath), Forest Bathing is simply immersing oneself in the forest and soaking in the atmosphere to heal and boost the immune system and reconnect with nature and ourselves. No special tools are required, just a pair of comfortable shoes, 2 hours of time, and a willingness to be in the moment.

Learn more about Shinrin-Yoku/Forest Bathing in the Time Magazine article:  "Forest Bathing Is Great For Your Health. Here's How to Do It."
