About this event
Are you new to Medicare or want to better understand how it works? Do you have questions about Medicare? Join Eric Hausman from the NYC Department for the Aging's Health Insurance Information Counseling and Assistance Program (HIICAP) for an informative workshop that will prepare all of the older adults in our community for Medicare's annual open enrollment period this fall.
We will cover Enrollment in Medicare (Part B), Costs in Medicare (Premiums, Deductibles, Coinsurance, etc.), and Choices in Medicare – Original Medicare and Medigap vs. Medicare Advantage, along with Medicare Part D drug coverage - and programs that help with Medicare costs (Extra Help/LIS, EPIC and Medicare Savings Programs).
This class will take place via Zoom. Register to receive the link!
