About this event
Now’s the time to learn how to get the word out about your show, music, event, business. If you’re afraid of writing and sending press releases, we’ll fix that.
What goes into a press release? Can you write and send your own? How are they used for different things? These topics will be tackled at Pete's fun, interactive, idea-generating, 90-min press release workshop (via Zoom) which aims to empower you to do your own press. We'll discuss the basics, and together we'll investigate creating creative press releases, generating press-worthy ideas, and figuring out who your audience is. We'll discover and discuss effective ways to get the word out about your show, song, product, event, etc. Plus, you'll receive access to press release templates and press release/story pitch samples.
