About this event
DreamStreet Theatre Company and The Motor Company Present:
The Tempest
This collaborative production from DreamStreet Theatre Company and The Motor Company brings together Shakespeare’s classic The Tempest and Aimé Césaire’s anticolonial response, Tempest, performed by a cast of artists living with developmental disabilities.
Set in the open air of Hudson River Park, the performance invites audiences to gather, connect, and enjoy theatre in a welcoming, inclusive space. Audience members can enjoy the show comfortably — sunglasses and seating will be available, and you're encouraged to bring your own beach chair just in case we get a big crowd. Let the breeze, the setting sun, and this joyful reimagining of a classic transport you to Prospero’s enchanted island.
Admission is donation-based — all are welcome, and contributions help support inclusive, community-driven theatre.
