About this event

An exclusive evening of Victorian revelry sure to beguile the superstitious, bemuse the critic, and befuddle the cynic.

Come curious. Leave charmed.

Come curious. Leave enchanted.

Come curious. Leave curiouser.

Each ticket includes:

Inside the House:

An upscale small group experience in the manor.  Upon entering the house your 75 minute tour will begin with a professional photographer on the second floor to capture your ensemble in Victorian era style. After which, there will be an opportunity to connect with one of 3 intuitives on the first floor. Each  person will receive their dose of elixer made by Mad Monte at the medicine show in the kitchen. Then guests will be invited to the basement to learn about the history of Duncan Manor. The tour will conclude with a Victorian era seance. Each portion of the tour will be kept short and terribly sweet to maximize appropriate distancing.

Tours begin at 6pm in groups of 12.  Doors open at 5:30pm, allowing guests wishing to be part of the earlier tour times to check-in and sign up for their time slot of choice.

Each guest will be given the option to have one of the following: a rune, tarot card, or psychic medium reading.

In the Polebarn:

Baxter's will be catering a culinary smorgasbord in the form of a sweeping, decadent charcuterie table.

Mad Monte will be pouring drinks created with his custom syrups at the bar.

Live music by Chicago-based Shady Play: a Jazz trio making vintage jazz and swing arrangements of modern music.

A live artist will be creating a painting of the evening in the polebarn.  Guests will have an opportunity to bid on the painting and the winning bidder will be given the painting at the end of the evening.

We encourage guests to come dressed for the occasion. This is a formal yet whimsical event...there will be a “Best Dressed” award at the end of the evening!

This is a fundraiser and all proceeds will benefit Duncan Manor a 501c3 nonprofit focused on historic preservation through community involvement.

We encourage guests to refrain from attending if they are presenting symptoms of illness leading up to the event. Physical distancing is strongly encouraged and opportunities to sanitize hands will be aplenty. There will be ample air flow throughout the house and masks available!
