About this event

How many days has it been now? When does the ending begin? QuaranTango is a show about survival, solitude, strength and hope.

Inspired and born out of pandemic life, QuaranTango features original tango compositions by Ann Cusack, guest artists Bob Solone (piano) and Trent Oldham (singer) as well as Tango 21 Dance Theater ensemble members. Created, written and choreographed by Tango 21 Dance Theater co-founders Jorge Niedas and Liz Sung. A multimedia experience with video projections, live music and dance, see what it means to tango in isolation, while finding yourself again.

Presented by the International Latino Cultural Center of Chicago and Tango 21 Dance Theater.

Tango 21 Dance Theater is supported by The MacArthur Funds for Culture, Equity, and the Arts at the Richard H. Driehaus Foundation, and by the generous contributions from our donors.
