About this event
Coup de Gras is an annual anarchist Mardi Gras celebration thrown by Krewe de Main and the Center for a Stateless Society deep in the bayous of Cajun Country. Equal parts anarchist bookfair and Carnival celebration, Coup de Gras is a yearly camping festival and unconference which aims to bring together libertarian socialist politics and the traditions of Mardi Gras.

The festival itself is free to attend but tickets are available for camping spots at the festival site. We have single day camping tickets or you can save money by buying a camping ticket for the entire week. Sales from these tickets do help us to provide more activities and amenities and put on the best festival possible. Pre-fest shows & Ball are separate events which charge cash at door (age restricted).
Our sliding scale ticketing means that customers pay what they want/can and no one is turned away due to a lack of funds. While our ticketing system does not allow us to sell sliding scale tickets directly on this platform, you can contact us at coupdegras@riseup.net to purchase tickets at any price you name, including $0. So come and celebrate Mardi Gras with us because money should never be a barrier to join in on the fun and every little bit of money we raise helps us to keep going no matter how large or small!!
